ORIGINS
My name is Maurice, 38 years old, married and father of two beautiful daughters.
I created Lost Visuals as an alter ego when I just started out as a photographer and filmmaker around 2012. I've tried several names but there was a specific day that I remember clearly. Sitting in the train, staring out the windows, seeing different opportunities to capture nice pictures, but had no camera to capture them. That was the moment everything connected. It was a Lost Visual. Never to be captured again.
Fast forward more than 13 years in the game, I've travelled the world to capture everything that otherwise would have been lost images. From the tea fields in India to the main stage of Miami Ultra Music Festival, from weddings in Tuscany & Sant Tropez to a full on documentary for Asics in New York & Tokyo.
I teached myself how to photograph, film and edit all my own material and this makes me very versatile. From concept to the final product, it's all in my own hands. I've tried many different types of photography and videography. Shooting luxury cars or creating a full on fashion campaign, branded content, portraits, real estate, food or weddings, I like and mastered each and every one of them.
Over the years Lost Visuals is even grown to a production company. It’s not just me alone. My network is everything to me. Different DOP’s, directors, gaffers, photographers, editors, stylists, make-up artists and more, are all very talented and a joy to work with.
I'd like to say I am a creative mind who loves to think with you about how to create the right visuals that tells your story. Every person, every brand deserves that uniqueness.
